What it is

The AFG601 is intended for use in FEMA tornado safe rooms, storm shelters, and applications in hurricane-prone regions where maximum protection against wind-driven rain is necessary.[3]

How it works

The louver is available in a recessed/flush mounting frame. Mounting angles are continuous along the jambs or head and sill with mounting holes. The AFG601 has a minimum section size of twelve inches wide by twelve inches high and a maximum single section size of forty-eight inches wide by ninety-six inches high. Larger openings can be configured from multiple louver panels.[2][4]
